This can quickly push volunteer board members and staff to their limits in terms of workload and capacity. Moreover, it is often difficult to find dedicated individuals, whether volunteers or professionals, who are willing to take on this responsibility. Unfortunately, the benefits of engaged parents are then lost. Great ideas and projects to support the school can no longer be implemented due to capacity constraints. This inevitably raises the question, "What's next?" As a first step, it is important to seek help. We are happy to advise you. We will help you get organized and assess your current situation. The 2026/2027 school year is fast approaching, and with it comes the legal entitlement of first-graders to all-day care. You now face the challenge of implementing this entitlement in your kitchen, cafeteria, and after-school program, ensuring that all children are included and no one is left out. We have already walked this path. As a partner in fulfilling the all-day care program, we can provide optimal support for your development and are happy to assist you with any questions that may arise.
